West Lafayette Nut Flush (Joel)

Hi -

Base on my team name, I'm old (50).  I grew up in northern Indiana when Joe Montana went to Notre Dame.  My loyalty followed him to San Fran.  He's signed jersey hangs on my office wall.

I'm currently in seven dynasty leagues, but dread the off-season.  Currently, I'm a diehard Colts/boilermaker fan, but I'm the most active owner in every league I'm in.  I have three kids and a wife (build like a linebacker).  

I'm an open book and not timid about voicing my opinion.  I also have very thick skin.  I can take it as well as I can give it, but know not to cross the line.

I'd like to be considered for any opening you have.

My name is Joel Cornell.  I live in Zionsville Indiana



2 Tell us about your fantasy football experience, including the types of leagues you play in and where they are hosted.

I'm in 8 dynasty leagues.  Most are contract/IDP leagues hosted on MFL


3 Why do you want to be part of Roster Wars...what drew your interest?

So tired of the off season down time.  I really a 365 day league.  Several claim to be.  None follow through.


4 How much time in a typical week do you spend on your fantasy football hobby?

Glad my wife is out.  10+ hours.  More if needed.


5 Talk about a favorite memory or crazy fantasy football related story.

In 2011 (i think). I needed like 5points from Tony Romo to win the championship.  Breaks his collarbone in the 1st quarter.  I lose.


6 What do you think members of your other leagues would say about you as an owner?

Some would say I'm an ass... but most would say I'll counter any trade regardless of how shity it is.

7 Anything else you would like to add?

I hate the patriots with a passion.  never offer me a NE player in a trade.

8 Are you joining in the hopes of becoming an owner or do you just want to hang around with us?

Go easy on me - Willy and I had a slow recovery from prostate surgery.

"Nut Flush" means that you have the best possible flush.

Maybe it should be like the tuck rule. All Tom Brady 2 yard out routes are complete. Was a large chunk of his career
