STEP #3: INTRODUCE YOURSELF (PERSONAL THREAD)

So you read the rules and you have an identity also known as a team name.....sweet....

Now all you need to do is let us know you have arrived.  Here is how....

The only section of this forum that one can post in with their first post is this one...the FRONT PORCH.

So from the main page, click on the section THE FRONT PORCH and look for the button NEW TOPIC on the left side and click it.

Title your thread like this...

Team Name (your first name)

Now for your introduction...we have a few suggestions but feel free to add whatever else to your intro you would like.  These questions are a good way to start though....


1 Who are you? Where do you live?

2 Tell us about your fantasy football experience, including the types of leagues you play in and where they are hosted.

3 Why do you want to be part of Roster Wars...what drew your interest?

4 How much time in a typical week do you spend on your fantasy football hobby?

5 Talk about a favorite memory or crazy fantasy football related story.

6 What do you think members of your other leagues would say about you as an owner?

7 Anything else you would like to add?

8 Are you joining in the hopes of becoming an owner or do you just want to hang around with us?

** Note: we are not looking for "correct" responses but simply wanting to meet you. This thread is to introduce yourself so give some of your fantasy football AND non fantasy football background, but anything to help us get to know you.

This thread will remain as long as you are here at Roster Wars and will serve as your personal thread.  Besides the obvious personal stuff you choose to share, this thread will be the place to let us know if you know you are going to be away for more than several days so that nobody is left wondering why you aren't participating.  Some members share a lot and some share only a little but we all take care of business when it comes to letting the league know that business or vacations are going to interfere a bit.  There are two sections for these personal threads...the one you see for friends/prospects and another for owners/former owners which requires making it into our club officially.  Your thread will be moved to the other section if you earn your way in.

By merely completing this task you will graduate to friend of the club status immediately which allows you access to some of the most active sections of our forum.  This leads us to the next step...
