It's so wrong that I did the trade with Dragons to go from Alex Smith to Tom Brady and Jon doesn't even get the Alex Smith he should have and expected to get. Wouldn't change much cuz it would still be Watson/Brees but it is soooooo wrong that Alex Smith is actually ahead of Brady at this point.

why this

Where's Ian? If anyone should feel dirty about anything it should be Jon and for this. You should be getting the Alex Smith of (any other time in his career) in exchange for the draft pick you received. If there is any justice (not the Charm City variety) it'll sneak up and kick you in the ball sack in the playoffs, preferably while I get to stop over the limp Dragons on the way to a title.

With OBJ and Tate both hurt and with Cobb set to fail catching passes from Hundley I needed WR help. Too bad I can't start 5 TEs every week.

WOW a $12 FA investment in Ray Ray, Morris, and Buck Allen, along with a trade for Martin for a 3rd Rd Pick and a FA that will surely disappear, for a first and second that will be high.....   The Kings GM is looking good today!

PostSubject: Re: 2017 Roster Wars TRADE Discussion   Tue Oct 17, 2017 6:37 pm

FWIW in my two trades, the 1st one was done with no knowledge or inclanation of the 2nd one. I had Cousins, Flacco and a bunch of poo I was throwing at a wall trying to get to stick. And Galacticos just lost ARod and has no one he could start at the position... I’ve attempted to be a buyer in the QB market all year which has been rough so I get where he’s coming from in buying Flacco... But now that I own Brady, I do like the look of that 1st one even more.

As for the 2nd one, the Brady one, I think I may have paid a bit to get him but it was a move I don’t regret making. No offense to Afterglow but I see that 1st as a top 5 pick, but at this point I’d rather roll out Brady with Coudins every week then make that draft pick next year.

I think both teams and myself got what we were looking for in both deals.

Yup I see that pick as high too, just too many key injuries and no depth. In other news, it will be worth even more as the Afterglow just dealt the Panthers LeSean McCoy (3yrs), Chris Hogan (1yr), and Latavius Murray (1 yr) & $5 for Dalvin Cook (6 yrs)

After a busy day, Sam is loading up ladies and gents

Was going to see what the contracts were, but since they are the same it is so freaking close, it is just what player you like better. I like Bell better, but both come with off-field risk.

I like Zeke for the long-term. But if you're going for it this year, getting Bell is a no-brainer. I don't think that Zeke serves his suspension this year. But, if he does, he will miss at least two playoff games.

I think that the picks should be reversed but the picks are really meaningless when you're moving guys like Zeke and Bell. Just shows that Brad was less motivated to pull off the deal and was able to get a pick upgrade.

This is a tough one. I like Bell because he doesn't get suspended. However, with Ben potentially retiring next year it could be harder for Bell without solid QB. Overall, pretty even.

Bell doesn't get suspended? I know at least once for sure.... 3 games for drug use right. Next suspension 6 games? There both idiots who can't be trusted but Elliot obviously has more risk right now. Until Bell gets his 2nd or 3rd drug suspension.... Great talent on both side but I'd rather have Bell

For as much shit as we gave ol’ Duffers for that trade, it’s looking like it worked for at least one week as he hopes Chris Thompson doesn’t lay a 40 burger and Zach Brown a “duff” (yes I looked that golf term up) to get a victory over the 5-1 Powerhouse Spartans.... is it too little too late? Who knows, but good on him making that magic happen for at least this week
