Kudos to Bill for snagging the best value.  One of the advantages for me being in this league is I'm not usually a big trader but now I can hopefully fix my screw-ups by trading with you guys.  Becoming a more active trader is one of my goals.

I look forward to seeing this in other leagues as well.  Ed usually gets a grip hold on his players and we never can pry them away.  This is good news.

I guess we are petering out now.

Still some very surprising picks. Sammie Coates lasted way longer than I thought, as did Tyrod Taylor.

Real value with those two, eh Greg...?

They were down my list too but they went after several 0 year CB's. I'd imagine 0 year Tyrod is much more likely to be kept on a roster than pretty much any 0 year CB. Coates was on a 2yr contract.

Does Greg get an e-mail notification any time the word 'value' is used in a post? He posted quick!

Coates is a great value there.  And his value may increase more if/when Bryant doesn't come back or falters again and a large increase if, for some reason, Antonio is not with the team next year.

I think Tyrod Taylor is solid value. He could be the next QB of the Browns and you know how well those QB's normally do.

Garoppolo makes sense to go to the Browns but that is exactly why it wont happen.

I laffed when I saw "over" 7 pages. I think the settings are set at 50 posts per page, which meant 350 plus posts on a topic with a shelf life. Easy money on the "under" IMO. But I'll help your cause with a +1. wink

Thanks to Ed and Mark for helping me out with the posting yesterday and today. For some reason I cannot get the mobile site to allow me to post. Any thoughts from the peanut gallery? I log in and can see posts, but when I go to post it asks me to log in again and does not actually allow me to post.

Some interesting picks recently.  Guys like TWill, Alf, and RGIII could have some value and are on a manageable 1-year deal.

Yeah, there's not much left.

Just for Greg, it was tremendous value getting Dan Bailey with the 153rd pick. Kickers are shit but he's about as good as there is for basically nothing.

Even kickers cost WB's in RFA and Bailey was the only one with a contract.

Wonder which team picked him up...

I have tried both and they both have the same result. I am on Safari on my iphone. I was thinking of downloading another browser and trying it, but each time I think about that I am out and do not have wifi, so now that I am thinking about it, I am going to try it and see if that works.

I feel like this post has two goals. The first is to make Greg hate me because he will associate me with "value", which clearly is a touchy subject for him and two (and probably more importantly), hopefully get Greg to engage with you in a large debate that pushes this post past seven pages.

He also outscored Deandre Hopkins and Dez Bryant, so clearly he should have gone in the first round. ROFL

rofl rofl

Actually, I'm a fan of the pick. I'd never give a kicker a 2-year deal but it's nice to be able to roll into RFA and know that you have one, and a good one, already locked up.  Didn't a kicker (Gostkowski?) go for something like 10 WBs in RFA last year?

Exactly. Again, far more value than some of the 0 year contract players that have been picked as they will just end up in to the RFA pool.

Dan Bailey is in Bill's starting line-up every single week.

Yeah. That was me bitch. I gave him a 4 year deal. He was the top scoring PK for 3 years in a row. Basically outscored every player on my current roster. Then went on to set career highs in Missed Extra Points and Field Goal Attempts this year.

It's the TT for fuck's sake Jon. Most of these 0 year contract players you are giving shit value to won't even be touched in RFA and will be kept by their teams for free.

He just completed a trifecta plus one. Guess that is a Quadfecta. Now that's Value!

I count 41 more picks left (although I may have missed one or two), and then everyone can name names and talk all they want and grade our teams. Should add some more fodder for discussion.
