Well then let's start this out right then:

Trade!

England Dragons gave up:
Murray, DeMarco PHI RB
Year 2016 Round 7 Draft Pick from England Dragons

Titletown Tyrants gave up:
Year 2016 Round 4 Draft Pick from Titletown Tyrants
Year 2016 Round 5 Draft Pick from Titletown Tyrants

I will take a chance on Murray even though he scares the crap out me. Hopefully his new coach likes him a lot.

I'd probably take a chance on Murray for a 4th too. Wouldn't be overly excited about it, but would be worth the try

I think Murray is well worth a shot at that price. I have to let some expiring players go for that kind of return so I have a better chance of keeping some of the others.

Plenty more available!

wink

Jon just had too many decent guys on a 1 year deal, and can't extend them all. He's loading up on youth to make another run.

Titletown Tyrants gave up:

Not crazy about giving a high pick for a guy with a one year deal... Sorry dont like it bro. Hope Lacy pans out for you.

Well even with the bad year Lacy had, he is still better than my best RB, last year. I had to play freaking Andre Ellington last year, ick.

Don't like giving up a 2nd, but I could fail on that pick easily.

I like taking chances, with what I call "hope" players..."I hope they..." But, in my eyes, you did that with Murray, not sure I would do it on two players, especially at the same position; unless I got a bargain, and a decent contract...Ballsy move, best of luck with it TT!

Whilst I'm not convinced on Lacy either, don't discount the value of the 15WB's Nick got in the deal - they all but pay to extend Lacy (or Murray) for a year.

Player values change quickly. You'd have been very happy going in to 2015 with Lacy / Murray as your 2 RB starters.

Might work. Might not. At least someone is making trades.

cheers

When I don't want a player, I don't care one bit where he goes or what it took to get him there. I think he is an overrated football player but he clearly holds more value than Sankey and I own him...so I will shut the fuck up. laughing

My tier 2 LB scored 31 more points than your tier 3 RB alone. Both are trending up, but Mack is on a 4 year deal as well and I keep my 13 overall and a 3rd round. With as horrid as a year as Lacy had, he finished 23 points shy of Yeldon while having a bum ankle all year. I like his upside more than Yeldon's, and I will spend the WB's to tag him. Hell, I even got 15 WB's back.

But quit airing our dirty laundry in front of everyone. lol 2

Sankey is useful to the Eternals still. We taught him how to bake cookies. Motherfucker is getting wicked good at it. In order to not end up with a team full of fat fucks, we have decided to wage war on the Girl Scouts of America and are preparing to sell Sankey's Cookies en mass this spring. We would have started already but there was an issue with our packaging vendor that needed to be resolved because we're confident that nobody would want to buy something called Skankey Cookies!

Roster Wars Trade

England Dragons gave up:
Year 2016 Round 5 Draft Pick from Cybertron Screamers

Muskego Muskies gave up:
Mathieu, Tyrann ARI S

Best case scenario in my eyes Mathieu comes back wk4-8, probably isn't the same explosive player until the following year. Next year he's down to 1yr deal and I don't want have to tag a player like that. I'll take a 5.01, Works out for Jon he's got a packed roster so he can take a chance on Mathieu.

ROSTER WARS TRADE

California Nightmare
RECEIVE
Travis Benjamin WR
Ben Heeney LB

Morrison Minions
RECEIVE
2017 4th Round Draft Pick (Morrison Minions)
2017 7th Round Draft Pick (Morrison Minions)

Analysis: After many failed attempts at trying to shake up my roster Shawn came through with a Hail Mary. Realistically I won't do shit with those picks but fail miserably at trying to find a draft diamond. Travis Benjamin is as good as it gets for Cleveland and is now the leading WR for Nightmare receivers... Crying or Very sad

Ben Heeney was what I was after. I figured Shawn wouldn't waste the time to tag him, the rest of TT probably wouldn't pursue him in RFA, but it was personal for me. I won't go back and look at the exact day but whenever it was, I was in La Junta CO. The cell service was shit! I was trying to get on RW on my phone while I had a minute at the La Junta yard to pick up Ben Heeney. I hopped in my boom truck and followed my gang about ten minutes up the road, stopped, looked down and saw I had service so I was going to try logging in to grab Heeney. Before I even hit the Chrome icon on my phone I see the email notification pop up. MOTHERFUCKER! Morrison Minions had just picked up Ben Heeney.

So in the end... I got my dude, will have to pay to keep him if I don't throw a cheap tag on him and now I have to figure out what the fuck I am going to do with Benjamin. But before I do that let's see who the fuck else I can piss off with some trade offers.

Its no secret... I have a small one... tiny... This helps with my depth issues and I still have plenty of draft picks to use on crapshoots.

I love draft picks but what I love even more is players that can score week to week and I think I got at least two solid starters with a decent rb prospect.

I don't know.  I realize Sty giving up a first is probably what will give everyone pause.  But, gotta give to get.

Getting 2 immediate starters in Jordan and Cyp on 3 year deals is nice.  I'm not a White believer - especially with Dion Lewis coming back, but if you think White can play like he did at the end of the year or overtake Lewis' touches... then I see it.   Honestly, if this was the 2.1 instead of 1.9, I don't think there'd be angst at all.  This gives Sty a nice D-line core with Chandler Jones, Cameron Jordan, and Fletcher Cox

Eta: in fact, the more I think about it, the more I like this for Sty.

Ok, lets look at the facts. We have had three rookie drafts in Roster Wars, here are the picks:

2013

1.09 9. Utah Spazz Brown, Arthur BAL LB (R) Wed May 1 9:48:22 p.m. CT 2013

2014

9. Minnesota Eternals Robinson, Allen JAC WR (R) Fri May 16 9:37:53 a.m. CT 2014 117.80 Really like this kid...wasn't all that excited about him going to Jacksonville but the other weapons that were added to that offense should sure help. My #1 receiver and has been for quite a while...hopefully everything is a good fit in Jax and it clicks. (Comments Added Fri May 16 9:41:25 a.m. CT 2014)

2015

1.09 9. Las Vegas Degenerates Yeldon, T.J. JAC RB (R) Fri May 15 10:35:24 p.m. ET 2015 157.40 Was debating between him and one other guy... Can't argue against a true 3-down back with no competition for the starting job on a team that needs to protect a young/bad QB.

So in conclusion we have a mixed bag. A LB  that is a free agent, a stud WR that scored 288.20 points this past season, and a decent young rb (Yeldon) that had a decent season with  157.40 this season.

I really dont have to explain anything to you stud muffins since you all seem smart but the draft is a crap shoot as we can see by the 1.9 picks of the last three years. My team doesnt need lottery tickets it needs producers. I got guys that scored around 200 points last season plus a young rb for depth. So without really looking at the trade and teams involved I can understand why one might think that the Champ is winning again Neutral

Mathieu is too high risk next year whenever he comes back. I'll take draft picks all day long for injured players on 1yr deals. He won't be the Honey Badger again until the year after next and Ill pick him up cheap as a RFA just like last time.

I need offensive starters BAD!  At the price of a 4th for Clevelands #1 or #2 WR next year, I will take it

I love trade reactions! laughing

This is a bit freaky though. I'm used to being told I lost every trade / overpaid / under-sold. Can't we go back to that please?

I think Brad nailed the Sty trade and I think Dan nailed his own. Mathieu is a stud but this injury will keep him out most of next season - possibly all for fantasy purposes. I effectively paid the 5.01 so I could tag him next year. He'll be awesome in 2017.

I really wanted a 1st round pick but I don't think Sty overpaid at all - think that was a pretty fair haul for the 1.09.

cheers
