| 1 Tell us about your fantasy football experience, including the types of leagues you play in and where they are hosted What's up guys. I just found your site while browsing the MFL forums. I have to say... WOW! I am very impressed. I have been playing fantasy football since I was a boy. Back in the 90's I played in a church league, I was one of the youngest and we would gather stats out of the papers on Tuesday morning. Once the internet came around, that's when it really took off. Since high school, I've played in leagues with friends/family. As I became an adult I started playing in money leagues. I've been in a long running, highly competitive family league for the past 6 years. I also run a dynasty league that is entering season 2 this year. Currently, I am in 7 fantasy football leagues, all quite different. I have the highly competitive 3 keeper family league. My dynasty league. A 2 QB league. A public Yahoo league. And one of my personal favorites a new league run through Reddit.com with 1500 teams. I'm hoping to get promoted to premeire division next year so that I can make a run at the championship. My leagues are run on Yahoo, ESPN, CBS, MFL and Fleaflicker. I also play those draftday.com challenges. 2 Why do you want to be part of RW, what drew your interest? I want more. I don't have the time or ability to be a commish of a league of this grandeur, but it doesn't mean I don't want to be a part of it. Playing fantasy football year round is what I yearn for. Making trades and roster decisions even in the offseason is fantastic. We tried to replicate that in our dynasty league that I commish, but it isn't to this level. Some of the league members couldn't handle the complexity of this league. But I can and I want it. Also, the colors. Your site has fantastic colors! I feel like I'm in candyland or something. Oh, I also want to destroy all of you. Seriously, I'm going to win if you let me in this league :P. I hope you don't mind a little trash talking! 3 How much time in a typical week do you spend on your fantasy football hobby? To much? Hours a day. It's hard to say. I read stuff at work, probably spend at least 30 minutes to an hour each night. I finally got my wife into fantasy football last year. She is playing in two all women leagues this year. She actually won her league last year as a rookie! I spend some time helping her manage her rosters. 4 Talk about a favorite memory or crazy fantasy football related story There have been lots. Slatons breakout season? Peyton Hillis in 2010. The rivalries that develop. I'm highly competitive, but also very respectful. As a result though, I have developed some very fierce rivalries in my longest running league with family members. I write articles for that league under a pseudoname and LOVE to bash on all the teams in the league. I try to make it entertaining and relevant, but I also talk so much trash about everyone (including myself). That is one of my favorite activities and the league owners seem to appreciate it. 5 What do you think members of your other leagues would say about you as an owner? They'd say they don't want to trade with me because I drive a hard bargain. I also tend to wear them down and get the better end of the deal. I do make a lot of trades though. I'm sure they would say I'm fun and overly active. They would also say my team sucks. They do every year in every league. But people say the same thing about the Dallas Cowboys and we all know that isn't true! Honestly, they'd take shots at me because I do to them. Trash talking is one of my past times and I expect to get it right back. 6 Anything else you would like to add? Whenever you guys are ready to have me, I'd be immensely grateful. I'll take over a team half way through a season, pickup the worst team in the league, or start a team with all free agents. I don't care, I like a good challenge. Shoot me an email Cuda1337@gmail.com when you're ready. I'd really enjoy playing in this league and hope I can bring some fun to it! |

| Just wanted to check back in and let everyone know I'm still active and available if you ever need a new owner!! Out of curiosity, how often is it that you have to replace an owner? I'm just trying to get an idea of whether or not I'll have a chance at getting in for next season. |

This is our first year and so I have no idea what sort of turnover to expect. That said we are always looking to find good fits to add to our wait list but its a process to go through. I know you have been visiting fairly often but not so much in terms of posting and being involved and thats something that is mandatory around here so if you are seriously interested still (and your visiting suggests you are) then jump on in and become one of us. From there the process will come to you and if it comes to a point where it just isn't going to work out I will be straight to the point with you and let ya know. Up until now, I have figured you were interested and just watching to see how it goes before getting into it further. My recommendation is to not only read the entire rulebook but especially sections B and Y since they pertain to not only owners, but backup owners (wait list) and prospects and the more active the better. Hope this helps man. |

| Will do. No problem. I completely understand the activity thing and intend to be more active in discussions and what not. One thing I will point out though, just for the sake of pointing it out, a lot of owners may be very good owners but don't seem active because they spend time being active in their other leagues, ya know?
So for instance, I have 7 leagues i'm in this year. Three of them I'm very serious about. As much as I'd like to be active here, I split most of my time between those leagues in terms of activity, because I am actually in those leagues.
Just sayin'. Point taken though. I'll try to be more involved in discussions around here.

I understand. Glad to hear that you are doing that. This league has such a no nonsense approach to that sort of stuff so obviously we have to go to as much length as possible to make sure a person is a good fit here though too. I believe several of the guys here (as well a myself) intend to reduce our number of leagues next year and hopefully that will only make Roster Wars stronger. I believe almost everyone here is crushing the expectations so things are looking good. |

| Stick around Cuda, currently we have no openings but with 24 owners you never know what happens in peoples lives... Best thing for you is to stay active on the forums and get to know all of us and this way you get on that list of prospective owners |

Chad, I delete accounts that are inactive so that there aren't a whole bunch of users that aren't actually here. We have no openings currently as Florida said, but if you are seriously interested in this league, you will need to be very active for a decent amount of time to be considered. Activity is a paramount focus in this league. I will not delete you again if you want to hang out...I typically don't do it til over a month passes without activity so you must have been away at least that long. |

| Just posting again to see if there are any open spots. I know I haven't posted in awhile, but you gotta understand I don't really have anything to post since I'm not involved in the league. I still want to get in though if a spot ever opens up... so hopefully you guys will keep me in mind. |

Chad, this league requires a high level of activity. That is something we need to see FIRST before the door would ever be open. I understand that it's not as easy when you don't own a team but we have plenty of ways for someone to get in and be active outside of that area. Everything about this league is designed so that owners and prospects control their destiny and I feel on that level we are successful. |
