I'm not sure Richardson won't retain the starting job, I'm just not convinced that the title is a bit of an empty one. He'll be a useful flex/RB3-ish guy in PPR leagues, but I don't think there's a ton of upside (which is why I traded him). Serviceable, especially in a league as deep as RW.

Quote :
Richardson (foot), who did not partake in Wednesday's practice, had his foot in a walking boot, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Analysis: Richardson missed practice last Wednesday as well, before returning in a limited capacity the rest of the week. He proceeded to turn 10 carries into 35 yards, while hauling in five of six passes for 45 yards. Isaiah Pead, who was returning from a one-game suspension, was unable to eat into Richardson's workload, which should ease owners minds heading into Sunday's contest at Dallas. Expect Richardson's status to clear up as the weekend draws near.
Walking boot huh? Yeah...

Quote :
St. Louis Rams RB Daryl Richardson was able to take part in just one play in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys. His injured foot was stepped up, and he was forced from the game and unable to return. Isaiah Pead and Benny Cunningham split carries the rest of the way, but neither did much with the opportunity. Pead carried six times for 20 yards, while adding seven receptions and 43 yards. Cunningham had four carries for 16 yards, while adding one catch for six yards. Analysis: This looks as if it will be a problematic situation for Richardson
Ballsacks.

Quote :
Richardson was waived by the Rams on Thursday, the National Football Post's Aaron Wilson reports. Analysis: After the team drafted Tre Mason to pair with Zac Stacy in the backfield, Richardson became expendable. He was pretty mediocre in 2013, rushing for just 215 yards on 69 carries (3.1 ypc), and he failed to score by land or by air. He may be picked up by another NFL team, but it's unlikely that he'll be very high on a depth chart heading into the 2014 season.

GONE

Yeah, Dobson is a starting wide receiver, Richardson is applying for a job at KFC. Total wash.

Thought Dobson only started while Amendola was hurt? (Granted that's most of the time)

No, stand by your statement. I'm sure if you owned Dobson you would trade him for Daryl Richardson today.  Laughing

I already did this last year when Devils Towers tried to tell me how good Kembrell Thompkins is and I was a homer for thinking Dobson was better (which is stupid since they're both Patriots, but whatever).

Thompkins isn't going to make the final 53, by the way.

I was mostly busting your balls trying to be funny. Obviously a guy with a job is worth more than a guy without one. You just had to kill it though.
