Mindhunter was released today. I'm on episode four. Be sure to get past the pilot. For me it was way too slow and I almost gave up, but glad I kept watching. I think it's really good. The actor who plays Kemper does a great job. Give it a try.

Some of the acting is corny, but besides that, I think it's pretty good.

good post

Completely lost all credibility in that last season. Terrible way to tarnish what was a great show.

Possibly the worst final episode of any show ever.

Just started this last night, got through episode 1 and thought it had promise but was undecided on whether we were going to continue to give it a watch, sounds like I gotta give it at least a few more now.. thanks

It might be because it's a topic that fascinates me. To see something on the birth of profiling serial killers is fascinating to me, even though it's dramatized.

cheers

Mindhunters......watched first 3 episodes tonight...1 is slow, but pace picks up in 2 and 3...only 10 episodes in first season, so they needed to move quickly.
We're  hooked!

This was me exactly. I didnt find ep.1 appealing. Episode 3 and we are finished now.

I have two thoughts.......about it which I will not share because I dont want to ruin it for anyone still watching but I want to say it just the same LOL

The final season of House of Cards will be interesting now to see what is done without Kevin Spacey.

Did they finish filming before all of this. If not he's gonna have to die or something in the middle of the season.

Finished Mindhunters. I thought it was just ok. I was expecting it to be more like the book so I was a little disappointed. If there's a season two, I hope they make major improvements. Otherwise, I'm not sure I'll watch.

Well into season 2 of "Stranger Things"  Fun aspect is that middle school kids really do some weird behaviors so sometimes their actions aren't that far from reality.

I'm about half-way through the first season of Stranger Things and loving it so far.

As for House of Cards, I thought that it was being canceled, although getting rid of Spacey would have fit nicely into where I thought the plot line was going.

Interesting is an under statement. I'm only in season one, so no spoilers please. But in the 8 odd eps I have watched Spacey is in like 85% of the scenes if not more. He is the show at this point. He was also the big name fish they landed to take Netflix to the next level, which they achieved.

I just finished it the other night. I thought the 1st half of the season was great, second half was meh. I started growing to dislike the main character. Maybe that was the shows intent but it made me not enjoy it as much as I was.

I love House of Cards, so I am anxious to see what happens here as well. From the way the last season ended I could see them getting rid of him fairly easily and not missing a beat but I'm not sure how I would feel without him being in it.

Yeah, we just started watching to see what all the hoopla was out. Watched season 1 in 3 nights. Really good. Just watched episode 1 of season 2. Sucks the seasons are only 8-9 episodes.

Agree here......I liked the first 2 seasons best though when they were putting the pieces in place to success. Definitely going to finish the final season.

I take it it's good then?

We decided to watch it and lasted about 10 minutes. It honestly felt like it was made for kids. I takes a lot to make me stick with watered down shows where there's no swearing and stuff like that, just because of the time they want to air it.

Having said that, we love Agents of Shield...

We've been recording Inhumans but haven't started watching it yet.

shrug

I've been meaning to give it a try too . But to me, the commercials made it look like a "Hero's" wannabe.

It is good but not great. Being an X-Men fan boy helps I think.

I had a really hard time getting into agents of shield.

I have watched the pilot episode of Inhumans and I am not sure about it yet. Will watch a couple more and see how I feel,. I like the Inhuman books so I want to like the show.
