PostSubject: Mirror Mirror On The Wall. A reflection series - EPISODE 5    Sat Dec 23, 2017 2:20 am

Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall who is the Fairest of them all......

Episode 1 of this series brought us the HIGH's
Episode 2 of this series brought us the LOW's
Episode 3 of this series brought us the DISAPPOINTING
Episode 4 of this series brought us the SURPRISES
Episode 5&6 Spoiler of this series brought us the SPOILER FOR 5 & 6

And now it is time for Episode 5 of this series, the Season Review of the PP Conference.. And what a season it has been

So grab ya popcorn, sit back and reflect with me on the Minor League Promising Prospect Conference Mirror Mirror Season Review

As always the data is derived from our Team Rankings Survey that we did after the conclusion of our draft and from the Minors Survey Game
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

So it's Week 16 in the NFL and it is Roster Wars Championship Week. In the Minors we got Bob-O the Used Car Salesman Slashing prices all year long repping the PP Conference..

Who saw that coming ?

Just Bob-O.

The Slashers were voted as a top 4 team in the preseason in our initial rankings surveys (12/19 votes) but somehow in the Minor League Survey game no one wrote his name damn as the potential Minor League Champ (minus himself of course) & he only received 35% of the votes (7 out of 20 to be exact) to win his Chapter... Chapter 7 was favored to Carla and her Mayhem.. But here we are in Week 16 and the Slashers and their 5-7 team, the #6 seeded All Play team playing for the ship.. Congrats Bob-O !!

So obviously most of us predicted that wrong in the PP conference, so what else did we either get wrong or right? Let's get to it.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

We discussed in earlier editions of this article that the voters obviously overvalued Mitch and his Kings and undervalued Mac and his Ravens as both did almost completely opposite of their early predictions. Obviously injuries, trades, free agent acquisitions all effect this, but none the less the difference there is big.

For Chapter 7 the Mongols took down the division and earned a spot in the playoffs. Charlie was predicted to be a middle of the Road team, but only Charlie, Mitch the Glow-worm and Tim and his Patriots predicted Charlie to win that division..
In fact Tim, even though he is in RR was the only owner in the Minors to accurately predict all the Chapter winners in PP. (Mongols, Demons & Spartans)

For Chapter 8 Blake and his Demons took it. Too bad he didn't have the foresight to bet on himself, as only Goo-Jo and Tim picked Blakey to win Chapter 8.

And in Chapter 9 if you didn't pick John and his love for Sparta than you rode the short bus.. Literally it's quicker to list the dummies that picked someone else besides him then it is to list the 14 out of 20 teams that accurately predicted this.. So here you go you fools, Space Pink Taco's, Glow Worm, Unicorns, Dopple-buggers, Vipers and Marauders your ride is here

Outside of Tim for predicting all the Chapter Winners correct in PP the Promising Prospect Team that predicted the most correct winners of Chapters in the Minor Survey game was......
Mongols, Ravens, Slashers & Demons.. They all predicted 3 of the 6 Chapter winners, Galacticos was the least in PP with 1. Congrats guys
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Which will now bring us to the last part of the season review, the end of year awards..

We all (well 20 out of 24 owners, shame on Spartans, Duffers, Werewolves & Cobra's for not participating) input our educated guesses, and after looking at some of Justin's submissions I'd be doing his submissions a favor by calling them crap he pulled out of his be-hive.. But we all input players we thought would be the offensive & defensive rookies and best player at every position.

I took scores from Week 1 to Week 12 (the RW regular season) and ranked out who was the best in each of those categories, who got  the most right as the best and then whose predicted players scored the most points for the regular season.. Here are the results for the PP owners:

For Chapter 7 Mongols picked 2 out of 12 categories correctly with Russell Wilson as the best QB and Travis Kelce as the best TE.
For Chapter 7 Carla made the best picks in all 12 categories with the total fantasy points of her 12 selections equaling 1587.34 points.

For Chapter 8 Panthers picked 3 out of 12 categories correctly with Travis Kelce as best TE, Snacks Harrison at DT & Bobby Wagner at LB.
For Chapter 8 Panthers made the best picks in all 12 categories with the total fantasy points of his 12 selections equaling 1861.36 points.

For Chapter 9 Viktors picked 1 out of 12 categories correctly with Antonio Brown as the best WR (Glow-worm was his only competition).
For Chapter 9 Viktors made the best picks in all 12 categories with the total fantasy points of his 12 selections equaling 1886.66 points.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

And that is all for this episode.. Stay tuned for the Season Review of the RR Conference, which will be the 6th and final episode of this series..

Until then let's keep this thing a movin'

Bravo Sam! That's some serious work. That last gif is too funny. Wish I could have heard that pitch..."alright sweetheart, what you're gonna do is be a human mountain climb for my RC car..it'll be hot!" laughing

You have to give her credit that it gets stuck. That's the whole point right?

Oh no...that ain't stuck! That's victory formation. The same guy that managed to work this arrangement out is wise enough to known if you continue on and gave that sweet girl and RC-facial/teabagging you will be humping your fist for the foreseeable future.
