For all of those wondering, yes, Gurley is legit and should be considered as one of the top backs in the game.  The main concerns for the Justice are at TE and trying to pick the right WRs to start each week.

Once Bell returns to form the ‘Skins will take over the #1 spot. For now, they’ll have to be happy with 2nd place.

Howard reemerged last week but I am not convinced that he remains a RB1 this year.

Leaving Thompson Diggs on the bench hurt but, really, who was going to start Thompson Diggs?  Cooper has been disappointing thus far but trust the process – he will perform.

Could Rishard Matthews be the MVP of this offense?  Possibly.  Waiting for DMart to return and Calvin to come out of retirement.

It’s still early but I’m becoming a Kizer believer.  Expect Marqise to start turning targets into points and becoming a steady contributor.

What do you do when you have 5 starting RBs?  Sitting CJ and Cook isn’t the  answer.  This embarrassment of riches is becoming a curse.

Welcome back to the show Zeke.  The Brawlers overperformed this week thanks to a huge week from their QBs and Fitz.  Don’t expect this every week.

I’m beginning to lose faith in the Mean Machine, even with the big week.  Tyreek is a stud but there are a lot of question Marks.  Can he pick the right guy each week?

This was the week that we have all been waiting for.  Expect the Knights to keep climbing up the charts.

The offense has been awful this year but there’s light at the end of the tunnel.  This offense will be much better next year.

TY finally had a good week and Doctson got a TD.  And Sproles injury will likely help Blount.

The only real weakness is at DB.  But it hasn’t stopped them from putting up points.

The big cat jumped from #9 to #2 in one week based off a 206 point effort.  Expect this to continue and the Cats to take over the #1 spot next week.

Forget preseason rankings and focus on performance.  The Brawlers likely have the best secondary in the TT (if not the league) and have actually been trading off LBs to competitors.

Ansah came back to earth and injuries are starting to mount.  The key to this defense will be whether a few of the young guns can remain on the field.

Team MIA – Timmons and Su’a refuse to play for the Pigskins.  I’m not sure who Damontae Kazee is but I love to say his name – Damontae Kazee!

Yup, still need LBs.  But Demarcus was a beast last night.  The Bombers will need to start working the trade lines if they want to get their first win.

Joe knows his IDP players.  The problem is that he focuses too much on potential and not performance.  Guys  like Jayon, Klein, Lee, Elandon, and Budda look great on paper.  But not in the boxscore.

The Justice are lower than expected but a few of their guys have underperformed.  I expect a slight bump in the rankings in the coming weeks.

The Squad has a lot of Bears’ players.  Unfortunately they’re not good.  The big area of concern right now is the defensive line.

It’s great to see Kuechly performing well this year.  But injuries to Kwon, Beasley, and Cyprien really hurt.

98 is better than 92.  Right?

Thanks Russ. All of my WRs performed admirably this week (except for Benjamin who got injured), but that was probably an anomaly. I expect to start falling down the offensive rankings pretty soon. Hopefully my defense wakes up.

This format is great and easy to read and really helps me to figure out where I stand.

Nice work Russ,

Yee of lil faith. Howard is the real deal dude. Cohen will not be taking the job anytime soon if ever. 5'6" and 179 soaking wet is not a guy who can withstand a large work load. If the Bears can show a lil passing game the rush lanes will open for Howard.

The return of Aaron Donald is greatly welcomed at Cat HQ's, onward and upward.

Thanks again, man.

Well done!

cheers

I love reading this every week as I feel it gives me a good understanding of the teams in the Terrible Twelve.  Anything with numbers, stats, and rankings will always catch me eye.  vote yes

Nice write-up Russ. Some patience and the paper and boxscore will both start to look better.
