Leaving Thompson on the bench hurt but, really, who was going to start Thompson?  Don’t worry about McCoy’s subpar performance.  He is a top 5 back this year and will regain his form.  Expect an extended stay at the top for Craig.

And this is where we expected the Pigskins to be.  Things were already looking up for the ‘Skins but the emergence of Carson, Perine, and McGuire last week certainly helps.  The same could be said for Crabtree showing that he is the top WR in Oakland.

Coby Fleener is the key to this offense.  If he repeated his week 1 performance, the Justice would still be at the top of the rankings.  Seriously, though, watch out for Shepard this year – he could be the #2 WR in New York.

144.46

So Kareem is for real although he didn’t match his week 1 output.  The loss of Coleman and possibly Jordy and the possible loss of snaps by Dalton, Howard, and Rawls could possibly mean trouble in the coming weeks.

Great week 2 performance but likely over-performed.  Montgomery is good but week 2 was an aberration.  Is Jermaine Kearse a legitimate starting WR?  I think he might be.

The Bombers came out with a vengeance and made up for a disappointing week 1.  The return of Martin should help.

Even with Siemian’s monster week the Nightmare were only able to outscore Ed in week 2.  That sounds about right.

The Brawlers are consistent.  Unfortunately it’s consistently bad.

You’re going to have trouble putting up points when you rely on Gio, Jamaal, Matt Jones, Lacy, Powell, Jonathan Williams, and Yeldon as your RBs.  The Golddiggers make up for it with their WRs and TEs but they should be working the trade lines right now.

137.12

This team reminds me a lot of the Patriots.  They get points from unexpected places.  The problem is that Mark hasn’t figured out who to start each week.  His optimal offensive lineup would have finished in 2nd place.

127.64
97.78

Still surprised that the Knights are this low.  Maybe I shouldn’t be.  It might be time to admit that Cam isn’t the same QB he used to be.

113.08
106.70
109.89

If Demarco’s injury causes him to lose time, there’s some hope for the Oysters – to climb into 10th place.

Nothing sexy here but they put up points.  And you gotta respect points.

The lack of secondary help was evident in week 2 (13 points from 3 players).  But the ‘Diggers scored enough points in week 1 to hold onto the #2 spot.  They’ll give it up soon.

Ziggy, Ziggy, Ziggy, where have you been?  Oh, there you are, on top of Eli.  Welcome back.  The Divine are good now but wait to see what happens in a few more weeks – they should be top 2.

Imagine if Danielle Hunter actually performed.  The Brawlers last minute additions of Branch and Farley have paid big dividends.

Didn’t we see this last year with the Golddiggers?  Top scorer in odd weeks, low scorer in even weeks (excluding Ed and Greg, of course).  Hopefully this doesn’t continue.

An amazing week 2 performance by the Justice D led them to victory over the Brawlers.  But it could have been even better – they left 54 defensive points on the bench.

The Bombers could use some help, a lot of help, at LB.  If only they traded …

Disappointing week for the ‘Cats but they do get Donald back.  Expect them to pick up a few spots next week.

At least he’s not the Nightmare or Oysters.  They left almost 75 defensive points on the bench this week.  But not many of them were points that most people would have considered starting.

This defensive is bad.  And will get worse if Kwon misses any time.

Hi Greg.  Val really likes your logo.  I’ll leave it at that.

Russ, defense wins championships. That is what I have been led to believe! I can't get a good feel for my offense yet. I think my defense will be fine.

If that's true, you've got a good shot at the title.

It's way to early to tell. Way to early!

This is kind of what I expect from my team, a slightly above average defense and a slightly below average offense. As for the points on the bench, if anyone can predict the next time a CB takes a pick back over 100 yards, please let me know and I will be sure to start those 30+ points.

Great job Russ.

Give me a chart with numbers, and I'm all over it.  Somebody got a hold of the teacher's test booklet and now they have all the answers.   rofl  I like seeing team rankings like this.  vote yes

Honestly happy to be that high on Defense. Freeman, Timmons, Cravens, Burfict were all supposed to be weekly starters for me. Will be fun to see what I can patch together as the season goes on
