This will be the thread where I am just gonna bitch about shit....and you guys can either medicate me with some insight...or just point and laugh.

Why is it that whenever I post something...talking the important, informative RWC-style shit...at least one person either ignores it, misses it or just says Fuck It?

I swear to "something" that I am going insane.  The simplest shit seems to be unattainable.

I need to fit some time into my schedule to walk away from the computer I think.

For those who may find it amusing to needle people or be difficult to get a rise out of another...I know Shawn is one of these people...please take a page out of his book and realize that with me it will only lead to bad times.  He knows when to stop.  Thats the point.

At this point I am not sure if that is what is going on here...or if I am dealing with crazy people...or if I am the crazy person.

Where's my fuckin medication?

Nurse?  Nurse!  Nurse?

NURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!?!?!!?!?

curse scream

Just going to say you have wayyyyy more patience than I do. Seems like a hell of a lot of simple things have become crazy complicated and hard for people to grasp.

I think it was fucking hilarious that Carolina listed 1 player at 0 years and then submitted a roster with a total years equal to 143. I mean seriously, that's some funny shit. It's doubly more funny because the total years would have been more than 143 if that 0 was an actual number. And it is triply more funny that he didn't do it by accident.

Well I deleted the previous two posts where it was "not set in stone"....and he put this one up after I PM him and asked that he please hurry and give a final one since I have plenty of shit to do and don't want to enter 24 teams contracts in only to have to revise them again.

I have no idea what I think of this.

Is it trying to be funny?
Is it not paying attention?
Is it not giving a fuck?

scratch

I know it was a waste of my time.

I believe Jason (Werewolves) is one of the folks who could care less about the "colors" and such things. I may be wrong.

Ok figured out what happened with the werewolves.
1. Hehe probably didn't know he couldn't edit that section
2. He most likely had a rough draft of contract years and just decided to put it there and fine tune it.
3. He decided its fun to screw with Andy's mind.

He had already posted there...there were three total posts. He knew you couldn't edit em. I sent a PM asking for final version ASAP since it said "not set in stone" and last night he sent a PM to me saying "ok, its all set".

I deleted first two "not in stone" versions and started to load his contracts.

I still don't get it.

She is at work. He is at school. I am watching after this beer though making sure it doesn't get into any trouble. Groceries are being delivered at 5:30 but luckily she will be home by then so she can handle that. cool2

soapbox rant

What is with dynasty leagues that intentionally do NOTHING all fuckin offseason? I don't get it. Just do fuckin redraft if you don't like to do shit all year long...then maybe some of you suckwads could not have horrific teams EVERY YEAR.

It just makes no sense to me that you would want a year round league that you ignore 7 months a year and return only to have an abysmal 1-3 win team.

Ok, I am done now. Just had to vent about non-Roster Wars garbage.

It's crazy. With the number of things that happen in the off-season I don't know how people can not follow it and expect to be ready to go in September.

I'd say 20% of the teams from other leagues I'm in haven't logged on in 7 days or more.

If I liked fantasy football but wanted to do other shit all offseason I would just play redraft leagues if anything. Its great and all I suppose if you return to a good team but why would the bottom half of a league like that even give a shit to keep sinking their money into something they don't care about MOST of the year?

I am just not built that way and its hard for me to be around it.

I will say that these forums are a big part of the reason that we're so active IMO. You can only do so much with a chat room and crappy message board. This is a really nice setup.

I hear ya...but I am still crying cuz my other league has its own board too and still is that way. sad2

Its all good...I love it here and things will only get better. We'll keep finding fun ways to entertain ourselves here. I am really impressed with this group. Still amuses me to think of so many people telling me it would never work when RW was first mentioned. 1st

It's called LOWER EXPECTATIONS. Set you expectations low enough and people will not disappoint. I've been doing that for years now and is likely why I'm not doing a 10 year stretch for attempted murder. laughing

Going hat in hand with this concept is another called "Setting the Bar Low". Are you lazy, a loafer, a procrastinator, a Doolittle, a dog fucker? If you are any of these then set a nice low goal bar and you can do next to nothing, yet keep a good feeling of accomplishments achieved, self worth, and have a decent feeling of self esteem. Turn that big "L" for "Loser" 90 degrees counter clockwise and say to your self "I ain't know loser, I'm the 7th best, and I feel pretty darn good." yes

Matt Foley "Motivational Speaker"
