A little low in the scoring department compared to some weeks.  Week 1 most seasons is full of weird shit.  Plenty of studs came up weak today and plenty of folks delivered that I doubt will be able to reproduce beyond this week.  It'll be fun to see how many people get caught over-correcting.

I think the sudden hurricane bye issue will keep the week 1 scores lower to past years easily.  Some missing starters for teams for sure.

That too.  It's not just a week one thing...as everyone knows there are just weeks when the overall scoring is lower and this is one of them.  Too many big players with dud performances.  Hopefully next week we see more excitement.

From your mouth to the football God's ears.  Are you listening JJ?  I will give you a pass given how much you did for Houston this week, but it would be great if played a little better in weeks to come.

TJ played much better than JJ

Pretty much a disaster for me this week.  Should bounce back next week in a divisional game though.  I'll get to play 2 QBs and my best backer (fuck you Irma) and both Hurns and Wright's stock should go up with the losses of Robinson and White.

Good thing we didn't make that bet, eh? mischevious

Got a kicker & linebacker playing tonight, to makeup 50 points on the Spartans. Stranger things have happened. Not any I can think of right now, but I'm sure there has been stranger things!

Dumb question as it really doesn't matter, but I am curious.

When it comes to Monday Night Football would you rather have a lead and have to sweat out your opponent's player or would you rather be trailing and still have the player? For argument sake, let's say in both scenarios the lead is in the ballpark of the player's projected points.

Both are stressful. But if I was up and had to watch their player it would be more stressful I think.

Interesting.  I don't mind at all being behind if it's within reach of my available players.  Maybe that better than having a lead, and knowing they have a chance to pull out the win.  Same with a new week, I don't mind falling behind on Thursdays, or having more Sunday afternoon guys than Sunday mornings.

I used to get wound up if I needed a certain amount of points but anymore I just sit back and enjoy the games and take in as much information from the game as I can. I can't change the outcome of anything so I don't worry about it.

Either way is stressful. I’d rather have the lead so I know I’ll win unless they perform well. I just like having someone to root for or against.

Generally, I would rather be rooting for someone than against someone, so I guess I would rather be behind and chasing.

Also, unrelated, Stefon Diggs is good. It pisses me off so much how much his talent was wasted with crap QBs at UMD.

Two takeaways from Monday night's games......it could be a long, unhappy season for Peterson in NO, as it looks like Payton is developing the young backs and he can't not use Mark I after his season last year...and oh it probably doesn't help to yell at the coach on national tv...
And listening to Rex Ryan's wisdom on the game, in his monotone voice...is like ?

I thought for sure they were going to as momentum was on their side.  Since I had 10pts confidence on the Broncos, I needed the win.  It's about the only thing that went right for me this weekend.   laughing

I always feel bad for East Coast (or in your case Central Time) fans of the West Coast teams who play that late Monday Night Game in Week 1.  My neighbor is a Cardinals fan and he has gotten hit hard a couple times in the last few years.  At least it sounds like you enjoyed yourself, even if you will be hating yourself today.

Really happy I did not stay up to see this, I would be like Ben right now, only without the fun of drinking beer and with all the disappointment of a close loss.  Come on stat correction!!  Good game either way Joe.

Admittedly I failed in week 1, but it's week 1 so I am giving myself a past but this season I am going to try to not visit that live scoring button till Tuesday mornings and see how that feels..

I like having matchups still to be decided by the Monday night game. Because I have so many leagues Sundays can be a mess but by Monday, I know who I need to play well (or not so well).

Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen did it for me across a couple of leagues last night but I got burned by Will Lutz in one league. Fucking kickers man.

1-0 in the most important league though - Roster Wars. thumbsup

I guess in a way I should be happy. I get away with a win and scored 252 points despite nearly everything going wrong for my team in Week 1. WTF...

Tom Brady delivers his floor.
David Johnson barely does shit and now is out for who knows how long.
Pittsburgh forgot about Bryant.
Robinson gone for the year and did nothing before leaving.
Seattle hates Jimmy Graham.
Danielle Hunter got no numbers.
JJ Watt left briefly with injury...gets 3 points.
Von Miller gets 8 points.
Telvin Smith in single digits.
Rhodes leaves briefly with injury, gets single digits.

I'm not sure if I should feel encouraged because it can't go much worse than that or if I should be ready to curl up into the fetal position after losing 2 players.

shrug

Losing Woody and ARob so early in their games I thought would have sunk me, but my D stepped up big time (didnt see that coming)

Yea, nothing is definite until Thursday... Had a stat correction kill me last year late in the season, so this isn't a win until we get the final email from MFL Thursday morning.

HAHA! Oh, I love it, hopefully it will be better next week when I get some dudes back. I didn't score that little all last season!

Subbing Lacy for Ajayi hurt. .3 points...
Subbing LaFell for OBJ hurts real bad.
Chris Thompson did alright for Evans.

Let's hope week 2 is better, I need it vs the Silverballers!

It is ironic that after all the fuss over my RBs in the minor league that they were one of my higher scoring positions. What an unbelievable dud of a week all around.

Hopefully it is a good thing that they all got it out of the way at once. Now that can return to form the rest of the way.

I haven't fact checked this, but I heard on the radio today that 14/30 teams this week failed to get 300 total yards of offense. That is crazy if true

PINK article gets updated on a weekly basis. It all depends on when that cool guy has time. It also matters what your result is against that Arsenic team that you may or may not play this week...
