What's the appetite for the minor league to get their own versions of the survivor, pool and survey games? We need warbucks, too, you guys. cash

I think we could do them as money bets on the side for all who want to participate. But if I remember correctly, they are not required by the bylaws.

Correct, they're not in bylaws. I'm always up for some side-games though - especially those Fanduel posts on The Board. I'm on FD every day.

Of course. I just named FD bc I'm all about some DFS. Survivors, Pick 'ems, etc are always good for me.

I think Andy can open the MFL side games for us, but they won't be required. But we can put it on the board for all that wanna participate.

As for the fanduel, we can do those too. I can't remember who was in charge of it last year, but I did it most weeks. Much better because the winner gets all the money and fanduel doesn't get a cut.

We'll have to get a head count closer to the season, and decide how much $ we would like to wager and then put it on the board.

I'm down to do it for real cash, but I was actually thinking of following the main league format and having the side games be for Warbucks, like to bid on RFAs and the like.

Either way, I'm happy to go with what the group prefers.

Not offered in the Minor League. I won't stand in the way of someone in the Minor League organizing something on the side though but remember it's not RW official which just means I'm not responsible. laughing

I'm surprised it took you this long to reply to the thread, Andy!

I'll take charge of organizining it closer to the season, for anyone that wants to participate.

Oh yeah, I was thinking in the $5 - 10 range. And you could partake in either or both if you chose.

In order to un-bury myself I am limiting how much I visit RW a bit temporarily....from 21 times per day to like 3...until I get caught up some.

What do you guys prefer in regards to the pickem one? Straight up pick the winners or confidence where you rank how confident you are in your picks?

I like survivor and confidence pools. But with confidence, I don't need to do all 16 games. Could just do like 5 game and award 1-5 points depending on confidence.

Also dig the DFS.

I don't know if there is a way to set that up on MFL, I've never done it that way, but personally, I'm not a fan of confidence. Too much thought required, but I'm down for what ever everyone wants to do!

Same here, I'm down for whatever. Big fan of DFS I'm definitely in for that.

Confidence picks require more thought for sure. I'm open to either. 5-10 sounds appropriate. I'd be open for the DFS. I think they have friends leagues as well. Never done that before but might be what we use.

We did a friend's league last year and just did the money through the RW Bank. Just keep an eye on the board each week to join.

Count me in. I agree if we do confidence to keep it to just a few games each week. Also up for DFS.

My hatred for side games burns brightly. Mostly because I'm fucking terrible but also because I get really busy and forget to do them. Blegh.

Does anyone play the NFL playoff challenge on NFL.com? I've played with some of my other leagues for a couple years now. It's fun, we could get a big major/minor pool going maybe.

Yeah, I do it every year, it always sucks getting zero points the first week if you pick a player with a bye, but if they go to the Superbowl that 4x multiplier is awesome!

Play one league on a MFL league. Never tried the NFL.com but would probably join. It's all about strategy. Sounds cool.
