All funds being sent to/from Roster Wars must be initiated by the RWP.  DO NOT for any reason send money to me without being instructed to do so.  Failure to follow these instructions will result in a $20 processing fee being tacked on.

E.1 Owner Insurance (50.00 per owner **one time only**)

A. The owner of each franchise must pay a one time $50 insurance deposit.
A refund of the insurance money to a departing franchise will not occur if the Insurance Company feels any of the questions below can be answered with YES.

Criteria for Roster Wars CLICK HERE:

Criteria for Minor League CLICK HERE:

The RWP reserves the right to approve or deny an insurance refund even if the above conditions are met or not if he deems there are circumstances that this rule could not foresee. The RWP would love to be able to look at all of those factors and still refund the insurance money but by being an owner in this club you acknowledge the RWP's decision will be final.

B. All monies collected for insurance purposes will be held in the Roster Wars Insurance Fund and will be governed by the Insurance Company along with the RWP.  The Insurance Company consists of several RW owners volunteers approved by the RWP.

C. In the event that a vacant team is deemed by this committee to be in such bad shape that it's unreasonable to expect a new owner to be able to turn the franchise around within 3 years or so, the committee may approve to use the Insurance Fund to pay for one full season of League Dues for that franchise.
1. The incoming owner must pay the $50 insurance money to enter the league.
2. The incoming owner must pay for one full season of their League Dues and that would be non-refundable.  In a nutshell, the owner pays for one season and is getting two seasons paid.
3. If there are multiple teams available which will cause a dispersal draft to occur, there will not be reparations.  There will not be a case of an owner getting reparations AND a dispersal draft.
4. The Insurance Company's ruling on reparations is final.
5. If a member of the Insurance Company is directly involved in a case, the RWP or a substitute long-standing owner will take their place in ruling on the case.

D. There are separate insurance funds per league.  Every franchise must be insured.  An owner with a franchise in the main league must pay a separate insurance for their Minor League franchise.

E. The Insurance Funds at full strength would be equivalent to (the number of franchises in that league + 2) x ($50 insurance).  Any overage obtained through changes in ownership will be added to the progressive pot.  Any shortages will be replenished through turnover not requiring reparations.  If there is no turnover, then it doesn't really matter anyway.

E.2 Club Dues
Each owner is required to pay club dues within a week of the conclusion of the annual January Owners Meeting each year.  Failure to pay club dues will result in a penalty imposed by the RWP which could include in some cases expulsion from the club and such penalty will be the sole judgement of the RWP.

E.3 Club Fees
In addition to the dues and insurance above, each owner must pay club fees within a week of the conclusion of the annual January Owners Meeting each year to cover the "costs" of playing our game.

The RWDOC only works with whole dollar amounts, therefore when services are paid for...any change over the nearest whole dollar is paid to the RWP for his services.  It is assumed that he is deserving of something less than $1 per year.   laughing

Any unspent funds beyond that are tracked and if accumulation reaches enough for an entire season, owners won't have to pay fees that year.

E.4 Disclaimer
All costs are subject to change yearly at the discretion of the RWP due to fluctuations beyond his control.
