Hello fellas,
Just some background, I'm James Henderson and I'm from Raleigh, North Carolina. A NC State grad, I cover Wolfpack athletics for the Scout.com network... Philip Rivers, David Amerson, Russell Wilson, Mario Williams, Mike Glennon etc... are some of the State players I'm familiar with/have crossed paths with not to mention countless other high school prospects who ended up elsewhere. I think my recruiting background really helps with my fantasy game given I track a lot of these kids in high school and college so I feel I have a different perspective on several kids.

I can offer insight on a lot of kids, specifically those in the ACC/SEC region because I've seen a lot of them at various camps/combines over the years and especially in college.

I'm a long-time fantasy player and feel like I will add a lot to the league. I'm extremely active (almost too much at times), but I feel it's the best way to do it, if you're going to do it at all. I'm in a lot of leagues, working out of home and being extremely organized, helps me accomplish this... it is my hobby. I'm looking to join dynasty leagues because I like the year-round aspect of it.

I'm in leagues at Yahoo/ESPN/RTSports/MyFantasyLeague/CBS Sports.

Why Roster Wars? I'm all for new challenges and would love to join the re-draft first and earn a spot in the dynasty division. I'm also looking to get back into an IDP League. I was in two long-term IDP leagues that ended a couple of years ago; miss those leagues/that aspect of fantasy football. It takes even more strategy to do well in IDP IMO.

I said it earlier, but I spend a lot of time. Again, my job allows me to work at home, I have flexible hours and along with playing sports, this is my biggest hobby.

There are so many fantasy football memories, tough losses, things like that but the one that really sticks out for me is a few years ago when Green Bay was playing Chicago on a Monday night. I was playing one of my best friends in my home league, and I believe I was down just three points. The Bears-Packers were playing Monday night and I had Aaron Rodgers left. He was finished. We play basketball together and that night at the gym I joked him all night about how it was over, he was done because I had A. Rod going. I leave the gym and get home... literally I walk in, turn the TV on, and the very first play I see, Rodgers breaks his collarbone; I lose that week. Talk about Karma. If I recall correctly, I lose that week and end up missing the playoffs by a game.

I think owners in my leagues would value my opinions on trades and call me fair... I don't send bad trade offers, in fact sometimes my trades seem like I'm losing but I'm a believer in valuing my own opinion to get the guys I want. I'll "lose' trades to potentially win long-term.

Finally, I'm looking to join Roster Wars as a long-term member. Again, Fantasy Football is something I love, and there's nothing like a new challenge.

Roster Wars Training Camp (RWTC) is our redraft version of the dynasty league at Roster Wars. If you are interested we are drafting early August and we need someone to beat Ed, last year's champ.

He is really a wizard at IDP. Think of it like 23 teams against 1. We have 2 conferences that stand alone until playoff time.

It is $25 and we have 2-3 spots left if want to jump in

So looks like you want to do the RWTC and probably already posted in the appropriate thread (I haven't gotten that far yet) but are you also looking to enter our prospect process for our dynasty league or did you want to wait and see how things go?

Nearly everyone here is well versed in just about any aspect of RW so if you have any questions, feel free to ask and know you'll get the right answer. These jokers know if they give the wrong answer they will be receiving a beating. Evil laugh

He's probably the best player I covered. Had little doubt he'd make it in the league, but didn't think he'd be THAT good. He is a freak.

I'm actually shocked how well he's doing right now too. I think it's the perfect storm for him there in Seattle and he's riding the wave. I don't expect him to continue doing this well, but I'm certainly part of the minority.

I think he'll be even better after they take the reins off him. At State he was a passer then a runner, offense was built around him throwing the ball. He would have broken all of Philip Rivers' records had he stayed for his senior year.

I don't think folks know yet just how well he can pass it. We got a glimpse last year after Lynch was injured and they opened it up.

I know he was only in Wisco for a semester but it was one good season! Wish we could of had him the whole time. We dont get very many good qb's

True... I wish someone would tell him that every time he's on MNF and acts like he's all about Camp Randall. Just say you went to NC State.
