Why does everyone wear rose colored glasses during draft time?  Sorry for being so cynical.  My kids shouldnt have pissed in my Cheerios this morning.

I agree.  It's weird when most people do that.  I just happen to draft only amazing players who are going to be the next great player

That's because you're the most AMAZING owner any of us have ever met!!

good post

I too read some of the comments and roll my eyes but you know what, who the fuck would pick a player they don't at least "think" could be something? Just because I disagree with the assessment doesn't mean it's right/wrong. Listen to me being all FAIR AND SHIT ROTFLMAO

I love the we comment on our picks because when you look back at past drafts it's entertaining. I wish there was a way to figure out who the best drafters are but even in hindsight many results are in the eye of the beholder so fuck it.

The question I have most often that'll never be answered is "How many owners and how many of these picks are based on that individuals own homework and how many are based on heavy influence from "experts" or whatnot? It's time consuming as shit but the last few years I have done all my own research and this year I am not even aware of what ADP looks like...I have poked my face in on a couple drafts just to have some sense of when other people are gravitating towards certain players and this year I have been pleasantly surprised and felt no need to scramble to trade up. Also helps that this year some of the players I like weren't a "must have" like in past years so I have watched some go elsewhere without being bothered by it. Think only one player went elsewhere that I wish I could have snagged.

blah blah blah

Everyone is doing a great job on the comments but I'll still remind ya to circle back and make sure to add some thoughts to any picks that you made that didn't get a comment live. I think both drafts have been going at a great pace too! Hope ya'll are enjoying it as much as me. Love building through RFA and the draft...we're all undefeated still!

Damn it we hit a snag in DD, we were on a roll there for a minute. Not that I'm in a hurry.  This draft is flying by, is it just me or does it seem like it's going much quicker this year.

It is going much quicker this year.

I think I'm just antsy because of all the guys that have fallen to me. Really, really wasn't expecting to get either Wentz or Karl Joseph!? So hurry up so I can pick again, and see who is there for me wink

On the flip side, each and every person that picked before you, including possibly yourself on several occasions, felt that at least one other player was better than the guy that you just picked.  And there are likely many people behind you that are happy that you chose a guy rather than someone else.

I don't draft for another 12 picks, but I am busy from about 5:30-8:30 Central, so if by some miracle we fly through the picks by then I won't draft until 9. Otherwise I am good to go.

Man it sucks to get a taste of the draft again and then to get put on hold.  I feel like I'm in high school again -- at my girlfriends house, we just put in the movie, getting ready to "enjoy" it, and then her dad comes down to make a sandwich and talk for a while.  Let's put dad to bed and get on to the action.

I heard a good line from a friend of mine - the first time the guy comes around you toss him a shell casing from a bullet and after he catches it you say "if you mess with my daughter, the next one will be coming towards you a lot faster!"

I just showed all of them my gun case and all of my pretty guns.

I then told them the last thing they want to, is make me clean them.

When I traded into this pick, it was strictly for Anderson.

Guess I should have gotten in earlier.

Getting close to the end.  All of my picks are on pre-draft and the lists should be deep enough.  If anyone is interested in a pick, send me an offer but do so before I'm on the clock.

The Dastardly Dozen draft is complete.  Well done everyone!!!  Just need Dan to throw a comment on his last pick and we have 100% participation yet again.  No timer, full participation in terms of draft comments for 7 rounds and complete in 6 days!!!!!  Best owners ever!

I only wish this draft class would have been as good as some of the recent ones...not sure about ya'll but I didn't feel much sense of urgency this year which made for a more relaxing draft than I'm used to.

I don't know about that. I really liked this draft class, especially the defensive side. There is so much deep talent this year, that I got excited every time it was my pick. Like I always say, I love me some defense! I loved it so much this year, that out of my 12 picks, 10 were defense rock on
