I thought that he was using short hand for Bergen.

Send over some offers Justin.  Don't miss out on this opportunity.

Looking to move some defensive assets -- DEs Bailey, Avril, Barwin, and Taylor, LBs Davis, March, and Robertson, and any CB or S.  Doc Louis noted that you could use some depth on your squad.

Atlanta Africans gave up
Dalton, Andy CIN QB (Year: 1)
  Landry, Jarvis MIA WR (Year: 4);
Allen, Dwayne IND TE (Year: 1)

Littleton SilverBallers gave up
Wentz, Carson PHI QB (Year: 5)
  Cushing, Brian HOU LB (Year: 1);
Year 2017 Round 1 Draft Pick from Oaktown Malosos;Year 2018 Round 1 Draft Pick from Littleton SilverBallers

I am SUPER EXCITED to have Landry and Dalton join the Hitman organization!

Was it a lot to give up?  Maybe, but I have no offensive contract dilemmas coming up, so these picks were just a bonus.  Figured I might as well sell them for proven talent, than hoping the future picks would be hits.

Thanks Ian for the lonnnggg trade talks, and I'm glad it worked out for both sides.

Now I have figure out how I'm going to live with benching Travis Benjamin every week............

Love that trade for both sides.  It looks like the SilverBackers are going to make run this year.  And getting 2 1sts and Wentz on a 5 year deal for a rebuilding team is a great haul.

I'd lean towards Derrick getting the better part of the deal but think that it helps both teams.

I like that trade for Derrick more than Ian.

But, it's not all bad for Ian. It does increase his QB contract years lead in the league. He now has 20 years tied up in that position.

I like Ian's side. That is, f he hits on those picks. I agree with Brad, he has his QB position all locked up.

More importantly I still have a ton of QBs so Matt has to mess around with his positional ranking table laughing

Didn't really want to get rid of Wentz as I think he will be a good QB down the road. I also didn't need another WR, as I really like the ones I have, but when I saw Landry on the list I had to go after him.

Really like that I don't have a WR expiring until 2018, and with Landry on a 4 year deal and only 24 years old, I had to do it.

Roster Wars Trade
Atlanta Africans gave up:
Cobb, Randall GBP WR

Tarpon Springs RedKnights gave up:
Gipson, Tashaun JAC S
Year 2017 Round 1 Draft Pick from Littleton SilverBallers

With the surprising win of the SilverBallers and their trade that brought some additional talent to his franchise I decided my hope of owning the #1 pick next season had diminished by quite a bit. I still expect the Silverballers pick to be top 6 so it's a good deal for Ian.
On the other side I did not have a SFT or FT planned for next RFA so Cobb now fits that bill plus he finally gives me a potent offensive threat until my young rookies start learning how to play.

I was really looking at Cobb too, but didn't have any room to tag him next year. Too bad Cobb didn't have the same contract length as Landry because I would've tried to get him.

I like the trade for both sides, but more for Sty because Cobb is pretty good

Cobb is definitely worth using one of your tags on, so if Sty has one open, its a good trade for him.

Certain 1 year players have good value because of the option of tagging them. So trading a 1st isn't all that bad.

From Sty's post I figured that was the case.  But still a fan of the deal.  But also realize that it's a buyer's market out there.  Actually, to clarify, at least on the TT side, there aren't a lot of owners willing to give up a lot of value.

Yeah if I was not a seller/rebuilder I would like doing what sty did.
From my side getting value for expiring contracts is hard so to get a 1st rounder that is potentially top half is pretty solid

Up to 7 1st rounders in the next 2 years mischevious

Roster Wars Trade

 gave up:
Year 2018 Round 2 Draft Pick from Titletown Tyrants
Year 2018 Round 4 Draft Pick from Titletown Tyrants

 gave up:
Walker, Delanie TEN TE
Year 2018 Round 5 Draft Pick from Atlanta Africans

Gave up a lot for Delanie, but I am happy. I only had JT so this was needed.

Good trade. Ian got good value back for a 1 year guy and if Nick can tag him then its a win for both.

I have the room to tag him, and may. But I made that trade for this year. If I can get what I think I can out of him this year, and TT him, someone can come and get him.

This deal was done last week with a bunch of picks and such switching hands, but the player (L.Williams) had already played and was thus not allowing Bob to set a line-up. So the work around was to re-flip them and then re-do the deal on Tuesday. So Leonard Willaims was NOT dealt straight up for Beasley, a bunch of picks were also included. Check the transaction page for what really went down.

I disagree.
LSVD has been starting one QB all year and needed that second option not to mention that Siemian might pan out and be a long term QB for him. I would not call it a huge win personally for any side, just a good trade.

Ian, you are not afraid of Pink? I would be deathly scared of pink man I could never do a full rebuild. Heck I have avoided it in the past by trading to improve my team just barely enough to avoid it. How do you do it! You are fearless...

Haha, Sty you are right it is a disincentive so we shall see. But I'm a firm believer in doing things full out, if I'm getting rid of players who won't help me in a year or 2 I should get rid of them all!

Of course the roster does look quite thin now but I will take whatever comes with that scared

Some had noted that I sold AP too low but this was one of the reasons I was looking to move him before the season started.  You never know when a guy will get injured and lose a significant amount of value.  Luckily for Joe he pushed to get McKinnon in our deal.

Give me proven talent over a draft pick with "potential". Just look at my last early round LB in Stephone Anthony! Gave him a 6 year deal and he is worthless as fuck. Rather not go down that road again Karma so that's why I traded for proven Talent and it's paying off so far

True.

I think I'm just done drafting in the early rounds for LBs. I just don't like the idea of drafting a guy and hoping he isn't the next Arthur Brown or Stephone Anthony and wasting contract year on that type of player. I much rather let someone else Draft them, and then once I see they are good, then trade for them.
