Not me Andy. Unlike some of the knuckleheads here I walk softly but carry a big stick. I have been preparing for this draft for 2 months already. I have put in the work. Let's do it!

I have zero work in but that is how I enter all drafts that I own. With the opinions I possess there just isn't many players to rank. ROTFLMAO

You have memorized 32 QB's, 70 plus RB's, 100 WR's, 20 plus TE's, 20 plus K's, 30 DE's, 30 DT's, 80 plus LB's, 50 CB's and 50 S's and have an order and amount set for each and none of it is written and it is all in the noggin'?

Who are you ... Rain Man? Laughing

I've done almost nothing. I've thrown the 2011 scoring into a spreadsheet and looked at the weighting of some of the IDP's to get an overall idea of positional value, but, yeah, rankingS? Naaaaah. Also never dnoe an auction before. Fixing the team that I 'm about to screw up is going to be a fun project.

Speaking of the draft I'm really getting the shakes. I'm having draft withdraw. I desperately need to bid on players and fill out my roster.

I'm not rain man for sure but for a league this complex, the geek in me says you better bring a spreadsheet to the table. And given that MFL is sort of crappy when it comes to seeing who's still available to nominate I don't know how I'd ever keep track of my sleepers.

I started to build my spreadsheet and decided to hold off until we're closer to the draft. Too many moving pieces right now.

Decatur and I were in an auction with very similar starting line up requirements that had an unlimited number of players up fro auction at the same time and I came away with one of the top teams with the league. 30 some odd players going at the same time is a piece of cake in comparison. Yes I am auction Rain Man.

Is it on MFL? Could you link it? I'd love to see another league with any kind of similarities to this one.

Pretty sure I didn't walk away with the Skank team in that auction either. Still say we battle in the playoffs there

See I just have my own website with my own rankings, I have already been working on this. I have really enjoyed studying up on the rookies this year, the most work I have ever put into researching rookies. I have a feeling the average age of my team is going to be 22.

I also think I will purchase Matt Waldman's Rookie Scouting Report and study up on that.

I can't wait to have our teams so trades can happen and just keep getting closer to the day where everyone has the entire program down pat. First season will be a lot of learning and working out the kinks and such...with the vision being at some point 24 people all pitching in and the league taking on a life of its own. It will be great.

I have been trying not to put all of my energy into the Roster Wars basket (sort of like trying to avoid over training for a big fight) The DLF league I tried to join was a friggen disaster. I actually try not to think about the Roster Wars auction too much.

I don't want to put too much info in the ole noggin'

I'm sort of ready. I have been processing a little bit every day so that I'll be done in a week or so. Got the offense done and most of the defense. No matter how much you prep you can never be fully ready for a draft and those little curve balls that come up.

Jeez then I have to figure out how I am going to divy up the 120 years for my players. I am pretty sure I have to do so on the team announcements page on this site but is there a way that we can each set our contract years for our players on MFL or does the RWC have to do it all?

Yeah, but it's not like the auction will finish in a week and the mmost important picks wil happen teh day after the draft.. You'll have a 24hr timer for every pick. Plenty of time post NFL draft to get your homework done.

Yes. I love to procrastinate too. :)

I haven't started to plan my strategy just yet for this draft. I am actually starting to feel anxious and nerveous that it is too close and I am not even ready. I will have fun putting together my excel spreadsheets in the near future.
