They reference him here but it's not too nice.

Well, guess I really suck at this... yes

As is fitting, I have been eulogized here at Roster Wars.  Let me give you a brief history:  I was one of the youngest head Coaches in professional football.  But they were always against me, so I quit.  But I came back like the Autumn wind, and showed them all...With pride and poise, we bonded together. Forming a nation of gladiators, our battles waged in the bloody Coliseum; we fought our way to the top, and just kept winning.

You mean, in the war stories section of the site where the past Championships are documented?

grin That is Correct!

My bad Mrs. Eternals, I was trying to play off "eulogy," (verbal/written praise or recognition). Apologies to all, told you I wasn't any good at this laughing

Do we have a tie?  Have to get an official, unbiased, ruling from Mr. Eternals. wink

Not sure what page you're referring to. Where do I find it? Not seeing anything called "career standings". I'm probably blind.

On a side note, what's with the image for the research tab?  It looks like the chalk outline of a dead football player.

History/Roster Wars Record Book/Standings and then click on career.

Nice run for the Minions and nice run in the past for the Eagles but what really stands out is England's domination.

A few other interesting tidbits from the history pages:

Chapter 4 is clearly the best, with 3 teams in the top 5 of all time points.

Crazy that Steel Cats are 3rd in both points scored in RW history, as well as total losses.

And I will echo that Jon's numbers across the history pages are damn impressive. Well done sir.

Today I was surfing around and found the post below.  Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to tell me who wrote it.  Or at least where it is on the site.

I had a customer from Kentucky who was pheasant hunting in Fargo, ND.  Someone in his party was a novice and didn't realize the coverage of buckshot as it comes out of a rifle.  The end result was my customer got shot in the face.  He took about 5 pieces of lead to the face, 2 pieces to his neck, and 1 piece to his chest.  He is okay.  The emergency room removed the 5 pieces from his face, but left the 2 pieces in his neck because they were close to arteries.

I finally found this, Naperville Divine wrote it in the Swamp Donkeys thread...

Has anyone noticed the pennant change or is that old news.
