Name is Joe Finelli I am an internal operations manager from Akron, Ohio and I can across this website, read the league by-laws and came away very interested in what I saw. here are my answers to the questions below.
1 Tell us about your fantasy football experience, including the types of leagues you play in and where they are hosted I have been playing FF since sandbox leagues in '97, moved on to yahoo roto leagues then ESPN h2h. Now I found my way to dynasty leagues and they are amazing. I have started a dynasty league with my friends and we love the idea of a full team ownership all year long. Right now I am in 3 H2H leagues and 1 Dynasty league
2 Why do you want to be part of RW, what drew your interest? The rules look fantastic and the idea of year round ownership is great but what drew me in was the personality of the teams. it looks like alot of passion amongst the owners.
3 How much time in a typical week do you spend on your fantasy football hobby? In season - 12 hours a week Offseason h2h - 1 a month, offseason dynasty 2 hours a month.
4 Talk about a favorite memory or crazy fantasy football related story CCFL Championship game 2012 My Team Cleveland Joes are tied with my opponent and friend 172-172. all of our players were 1pm start times and it came down to his kicker Shaun Suisham who some how misses a 24 Yard FG and 3 points. I come out on top 172-169 to claim my first league title in the CFFL. My Favorite memory is when my buddy drafted Ben Tate the year he tore his ACL with Foster sitting on the board. The next guy took foster and The guy who took Tate finished last that season.
5 What do you think members of your other leagues would say about you as an owner? I love fantasy football. I am alway proposing new rules and ways to change things up. I am very interactive with other owners.
6 Anything else you would like to add? this looks like a great site and alot of fun. Love all the customization and hard work you guys have put into this. Cheer!
Travel mostly. Annual trip to the Caribbean in December with my wife and road trips around America during the rest of the year. Browns games are always a good way to ruin a Sunday. A trip to Russia in 2018 for the World cup is on the Agenda. I also love to cook. Smoked meats on game day anyone?

Since it is with all friends the activity isnt as serious as with strangers. We also try to combined alot of the tasks together (free agent/rookie draft same week)
Welcome Joe. Like the others said, feel free to join in wherever you can and participate. This league only exists because everyone is very active and nobody disappears. I too saw the "2 hours a month" and was like but I think I can understand if its a local league thing....so have you ever played dynasty with an online group?
Hope to see you hang around consistently...things are setup here so that a pretty decent sample size of activity is needed to be considered for ownership but I think it's worth it if we are in fact a good fit.
Glad to have you and let me know if you have any questions but anyone here can likely help with anything you may have.

I have not played a dynasty league with an online group. Just with friends. Excited to see how this plays out though. I have no problem being active that is for sure.
It will be 5 years married in August. No kids yet, I told her whenever she is ready for them I am. I would hate the other 3 teams in the north if the Browns were any good. So i've been sitting around for the past 16 years waiting for a contender.

I like that you're reserving your hate for when it will mean something.
Welcome Joe, I don't officially have a team yet but I recently made it to the wait list. Im a Green Bay Packer fan but I think if Green Bay didn't have a team I'd be a Browns fan. What is the fans perspective on Manziel in Cleveland? Whose your starting QB Hoyer or Manziel?
A growing # of Cleveland fans are becoming annoyed with Manziel. At first we thought it was great with the cocky attitude then all the videos started coming out. Hoyer is a hometown player and the fan fave right now. He was the starting QB @ St.Ignatius which is on W.25th in Cleveland so that helps alot. None of it will matter without Gordon.
Honestly I think Cleveland has a really underrated defense. They don't have to be stellar on offense just average. If Tate stays healthy I think they're going to be ok.
Not gonna lie, I threw up in my mouth a little bit watching that video. It makes me even more appreciative of Favre and Rodgers over the last 22yrs. My friend we have not had to worry about a QB for 22 years. I know it's coming eventually though

Errr, yeah 2 hours a month is way low. I'm pretty sure I've spent 2 hours this week just refreshing MFL to see if Tommy Kelly is listed as a FA yet.
Oh and welcome.

2 hours a day I think my wife would divorce me. She wants to murder me during football season already on sundays.

As you can tell from this post alone... We have some very diverse personalities around here and they all add up for one of the best fantasy football leagues in the world. Winning this crown is truly an accomplishment and one that I imagine will feel all the sweeter!
Stick around Joe, make yourself known, and embrace the waiting list. Cheers mate!

Cardinals signed DT Tommy Kelly.
Kelly, entering his age-34 season, was cut by the Patriots on Sunday. Once a strong interior pass rusher with the Raiders, Kelly is trying to come back from a torn ACL. He'll try and earn a roster spot before final cuts on Saturday.
