Analysis: The Patriots have launched a website called WellsReportContext (linked below) that responds to the assertions made in the Wells Report. "The conclusions of the Wells Report are, at best, incomplete, incorrect and lack context," the introduction says. The site goes on to cite a Nobel Prize winner about PSI levels and makes the insulting claim that football handler McNally called himself the "Deflator" because he was trying to shed pounds. We've reached new lows in the absurdity of Deflategate.

What a bunch of worthless fucks. I hope the patriots get even more penalties for this shit.

Yeah the response is baffling - do they really think people will believe this nonsense

Especially when their are other text messages like this

Quote :
“Tom sucks,” McNally said in October after Brady complained about the footballs in the Jets game. “I’m going to make that next ball a f–kin ballon.”

Later that day, McNally said, “F–k Tom.”

A few days later, “F–k Tom . . . make sure the pump is attached to the needle . . . f–kin watermelons coming. . . .  The only thing deflating [Sunday] is his passer rating.”

Yeah he is clearly using the term deflating in regard to his personal weight loss.
What garbage

I've been hovering around 200lbs... It's been hard to deflate the last couple of pounds to get down to 190.

Anyone have any deflation tips?

Fuck the cheatriots... This is really fucking absurd... When has anyone in the history of all humanity referred to losing weight as "deflating"?!! They should be fined more just for having the audacity to actually make such a ridiculous argument...

This has to be the worst organization ever!!  I mean they have constantly cheated and have only been caught 2 times, but how much more is the NFL going to allow??

I mean they have banned players from sports for cheating and gambling.  So my question is, how is Mrs. Brady and the owners and coaches still around??

What the NFL should do is ban the team from playing for an entire year... Players should be released from contract and allowed to sign anywhere they want to go play...

That would make any team think twice about cheatin

Robert Kraft has announced that he will not appeal the punishment levied by the NFL. (Brady is still appealing his suspension.)

So that loss of draft picks is for sure.

Was surprised by this. Why the 19k word website then? To empower blinded fans with a fictional site to reference in online discussions?

Pretty sure there has to be some sort of "deal" to accept the punishment and move on from the league.

My thinking is the Patriots not fighting the penalty will result in lenience to Tom Brady and his appeal which ultimately is a bigger deal to the Patriots...so they win by acting cool about losing.

Wow Steelers handed the Pats that one - should have been a lot closer (missed FGs, clock management, RZ errors, defensive blown coverages etc)

A couple of Arsenic players

Edelman and Gilmore tossed from practice today for a scuffle. Pushing/Shoving in end zone.

Fiery players but both very professional. Nothing to worry about

The question is

Who wins more games this season? The Patriots or other AFC East teams combined?

Pats = 13
Jets = 1
Bills = 5
Dolphins = 6

Advantage Pats.

Any of the Pats fans here have any insight on why the defense is so bad? I haven't gotten a ton of time to watch their recent games, but what the hell is going on there?

The Gilmore signing looks as if it is not panning out early. What else?

Defense looks straight up awful. Interestingly, a lot of it appears to be the coaching from my perspective. So many times we've been in zone coverage when BAM, screen for 25 yards. Secondary has been horrendous, and WRs have contantly had the step they need. It's not like the Offense isn't giving them a rest either. Big issue with the running defense so far has been the lack of Alan Branch/Wilfork type to clog up the middle. Pass rushing has been extremely up and down.

SO YEAH ALL GOOD HERE IN NE, WERE NOT FREAKING OUT OR ANYTHING!

Seriously though, all of these are issues I wouldn't be surprised if they fixed by the end of the season, because the talent should be there. Historically, the Pats are always significantly worse in Sept/Oct then get better as the season progresses and Belichick figures out how to best deploy each player

If that pace keeps up it will be a big problem for him/them. He is not a young cat anymore. Obviously, his arm, accuracy, QB smarts are still crazy good, but the hits hurt harder than when he was 30, surely.

Very concerning as a Pats fan. Curiously though, he actually has been quoted (after week 3) as saying he's been feeling the best of his career despite being knocked down so much. Interesting tid bit - he actually practices getting hit by other guys so his body doesn't tense up when he is hit in a game, which he hopes will prevent injury.

Yeah, I am not buying anyone saying they feel the best of their career at an older age. Your body just doesn't absorb hits as well. Like I said, obviously, he still has it though. My God.

If Brady feels better now than he did 10 years ago, he's either juicing or numb from all the concussions.

I feel better than I did 10 years ago...but 10 years ago I was admittedly a mess.  Now I'm taking care of myself and eating a lot better. But I don't have 250+lbs men trying to kill me on Sundays.

Yeah, and he seems to be getting hit more than ever. No more time to stand back there like a statue for 5-7 seconds at a time like he has his whole career.

It's the Patriots who are tanking Ben. They want to replace Brady with Josh Allen.
