Bell is working hard to earn that #1 ADP slot in redraft leagues! Hard to argue against him.

Murray is a good RB, but he is running behind the best run blocking OL in the NFL, some of the holes he gets to run through are ridiculously huge! Any semi-competent NFL RB would be having a great season behind that line...

Bell doesn't have that luxury with the Pittsburgh OL, they are pretty average. Also, Bell brings alot more to the passing game than Murray does. Can't go wrong with either of them for fantasy purposes, but Bell gets my vote...

Le'Veon Bell was sentenced to 15 months probation as a result of his August DUI arrest.
Bell was also arrested for possession of marijuana back on that day in August. The DUI is the real concern here because, as stated in the league's new substance-abuse policy, Bell is subject to a two-game ban as a first-time offender. While the league softened its stance against marijuana, it heightened penalties against DUI. With the matter settled in court, commissioner Roger Goodell can hand out his punishment. Bell could be suspended this upcoming season.

2 games seems fair IMO.

Course with Flip Flop Rog handing down the suspension anything is possible. Paying this douche 44M a year ranks up there with the worst money ever spent. I'm not sure the Flip Flopper is worth $4.44.

I digress, .... serenity now, serenity now.

I have no issues with a guy being suspended a couple of games for a DUI... Driving drunk is one of the dumbest and most dangerous things a person can do... These NFL players have enough money to always plan for a cab or have their own driver... They have no excuse...

I can see two games as to not want to lose on appeal. That was the rule when he got the DUI.

That said I am with Chris. How dumb do you have to be to be inteh NFL and get a DUI.....

Quote :
Sources tell ESPN's John Clayton that Le'Veon Bell is expected to be suspended for the first two games of next season. Analysis: Bell was arrested on DUI charges in August of 2014 when police smelled marijuana coming from his vehicle. The case was resolved last week when he was sentenced to 15 months on probation in a first-offender's program. It's the equivalent of a guilty plea, which means he's subject to a two-game ban under the terms of the new DUI policy.

2 games early in the season plus one bye week in that 17 week schedule. If no real injuries he still stays a top RB likely.

Le'Veon Bell faces a maximum suspension of four games.

Early last month, Bell essentially pled guilty to driving under the influence of marijuana. Under the league's new substance-abuse policy, first-offense DUIs get a two-game suspension. But the policy also says violations of law involving "other substances" exposes the player to a ban of "up to four" games. Marijuana is illegal in the state of Pennsylvania, while alcohol is obviously legal.

If he is suspended 2-4 games he will still be a hands down top 5 RB. If I was his owner, I wouldn't really be worried about this news, because when he comes back he will be lights out

Serious question: Was the "new" policy dictating 2 games for DUI in place when this occurred?

One of the implications of the Adrian Peterson suspension ruling by Judge Doty is that you can't retroactively apply new punishments to bad acts that happened when an older punishment was in place.

I like Dri Archer a little more than D. Thomas, but they are pretty much the same type of guys, I can't see other of them ever being a guy that gets 50% of the snaps or more... They are specialized role players, not feature backs...

Le'Veon Bell said he is prepared for a bigger workload while Ben Roethlisberger (knee) is sidelined.

Roethlisberger is expected to miss six weeks with an MCL sprain and a bone bruise. The Steelers probably will lean more on the running game with Big Ben sidelined, but touches have never been a concern for Bell. The Steelers' offense is almost certain to take a step back with Michael Vick under center, and that hurts Bell's upside in the short term. Either way, Bell will be a top-three RB1 on Thursday night against the Ravens.

This guy looked freak nasty yesterday in his return. What is his ceiling with Ben out? Or does he serve better with Ben in the lineup?

He can carry the load without Ben in there.  This guy is going to be nasty the rest of the way.  Not sure he can get to the top spot for fantasy RBs, but he will definitely be top 5 when all is said and done.

I think he is better with Ben in the lineup. Without him, teams will be stacked to stop Bell. I'm not sure someoen like Vick (even with Antonio Brown) will cause teams to fear the pass. Then again, maybe the fear of Vick running will open up lanes for Bell.

That was a pretty gruesome looking bend of the leg. Watched it several times in slow-mo and cringed. Amazed if it only an MCL when all is said and done.

All these guys getting hurt like this makes me nervous.  I wish there was something they could do for these tears, because every time a guy makes a cut or quick movement you get nervous he will get hurt.  I know they can't, but I sure wish they could
