4.52 40 and he's a little tall. Still looks solid out there.

I like Bell, but not over Lacy... this one was kind of a bummer for me!

The Steelers expect second-round RB Le'Veon Bell to be capable of playing on third downs right away. Analysis: Two reasons the Steelers were so high on Bell were his ability to pass protect and catch the ball out of the backfield at 6'1/230. When Steelers camp opens on Friday, he'll be trying to prove that those skills he showed at Michigan State translate to the NFL. The Steelers want Bell to run away with the every-down job, leaving Isaac Redman as a backup and putting Jonathan Dwyer's roster spot in jeopardy. It would be a surprise if he doesn't do just that.

All the talent in the world doesn't help when your O-Line sucks dick. Hopefully it all comes together. I like Bell.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell was the star of training camp practice Wednesday, July 31, and he broke off a long run. Analysis: Bell was not only the star of Wednesday's practice but he's been a standout all offseason for the Steelers. Pittsburgh wants to run the ball more in 2013 and Bell has a stranglehold on the Steelers' starting job. He's looking like a solid RB2 option as the season approaches.

cheers

Its lining up for Bell to get the best opportunity for 2013 over all the other rookie RB's... Overall, I still like the talent of Gio Bernard and Eddie Lacy more over the long haul. Bell sure gets to hit the ground running though!

Fucking balls.

Quote :
Bell reinjured his left knee during Thursday's practice, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports. Analysis: Bell reportedly went down for a few minutes after getting hit during a supposed non-contact drill. While structural damage seems unlikely, the rookie running back will probably be in quite a bit of pain, given that his knee was already sore. Bell started the Steelers' preseason opener and is listed as a co-starter, along with Isaac Redman, on the most recent depth chart. If healthy, he arguably has the highest ceiling and floor of any Pittsburgh running back.

Can't get healthy...

Updating a previous item, Le'Veon Bell was diagnosed with a right mid-foot sprain following Monday night's preseason game against the Redskins.

As long as Bell has avoided the dreaded Lisfranc injury, then he shouldn't be in danger of missing the season opener. The second-round back has battled both knee and foot injuries over the past week, which is a bit concerning, but we'd consider him day-to-day at this point. Bell will undergo further testing Tuesday.

I was never impressed with him at michigan state and was surprised he was the steelers choice at rb. I think mendy will look much better than him this year.

Bad news for Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell. Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is reporting this on his twitter feed: "Steelers believe Le'Veon Bell has Lis Franc injury they r hoping will not require surgery but won't be sure until he gets it double checked"
Best case is 6-10 weeks.

I have him in the Gridiron Legends league... along with Harvin and Maclin... although I traded Maclin for what I could get... still, I am down three of my top starters before we have even started! Sucks...

I dunno dude. Wright has a sprained knee too now, Cobb is dealing with issues... it's only a matter of time before Shonn Greene beats out CJ2K and Shady gets a concussion again.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Steelers halfback Le'Veon Bell could miss up to six weeks because of a torn ligament in his right foot. Analysis: If that's the case, he'll probably miss the first three or four games of the season. Jonathan Dwyer, Isaac Redman and Felix Jones will man the backfield while Bell is out.

Pittsburgh is planning for Bell (foot) to play this week against Minnesota, Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com reports. Analysis: Bell fully practiced the last two days of practice last week, but was inactive for Sunday's loss to the Bears. He's making progress faster than expected, but it's not clear if he'll start or be eased back into action. We'll need to see how he fares in practice this week to determine how many carries he may receive.

CBS Pittsburgh's Colin Dunlap reports Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were arrested for possession of marijuana Wednesday, while Bell was also booked for DUI.
Per Dunlap, Bell and Blount were in possession of 20 grams of pot and were accompanied by another female, who was in possession of two grams. All three were said to be "cooperative." While this obviously isn't good news, it may have no affect on Bell or Blount's status for the 2014 season. Bell had no real off-field concerns coming out of Michigan State. But Blount has a shaky track record. Both will be in line for potential suspensions once the case is resolved.

Can you imagine both of these guys playing hot potato with the pot when the cop arrived.  Whoever is holding the pot gets the suspension.  Whoever isn't holding the pot gets to be the running back.

I can't wait for the day when MJ is finally legalized and the NFL will be forced to ignore something that should have been ignored all along. I am so sick of marijauna being demonized when it is in fact far less dangerous than hitting the nightclubs!

Wow,   Bell continues to impress me and also make me regret that I didn't get him in more rookie drafts than I did or trade for him last season when was still affordable!

This guy is proving to be one of the best,   if not the best RB in the NFL in just his seasond season...   and he is putting some distance between him and Lacy as the best second year guy in the NFL...

Today was his 3rd straight game with over 200 total yards from scrimmage,   tying the great Walter Payton as the only other player in NFL history to do that!   Really impressive stuff!

I really like the way this guy runs. He finds a hole and then hits it.

I agree he could be one of the best all around backs in the league fight now. To have 3 200 total yard games this season is crazy!!

You stI'll have to consider Demarco Murray as one of the best backs right now, but Bell is making his case too
